Testimony: “God, If You Are There, Speak to Me”

On March 24th, 2024, I was in Stavanger. While walking and speaking on the phone, I suddenly heard the Lord say, “STOP.”

So I did. I quietly began to pray in the Spirit. About 25 minutes later, He said, “GO.”

Not long after I continued walking, I met a woman I had seen once before at a wedding over a year ago. We spoke briefly. A few days later, the Lord clearly spoke again.

“Go and pray for her daughter.”

I didn’t have her number, but I reached out and got in contact with her. When I asked if I could come and pray for her daughter, she said

“You can come, but my daughter won’t be home—she’ll be at a friend’s place.”I wasn’t sure if I should go. At first, I thought maybe I shouldn’t. But the burden to go kept growing. I spoke to a friend, and he said,

“You have to go.”

So I went on April 5th.When I arrived, I asked the mother if we could pray in her daughter’s bedroom. We prayed, and I began to prophesy. At the end of our time, she broke down and said:

“I had completely given up on God. I told Him, ‘If You are there, speak to me.’ Everything you said was exactly what I asked God about. He used you to answer me.”

Just before I was about to leave, her daughter unexpectedly came home—and I had the opportunity to pray for her as well.

Why I Share This

I don’t share this to talk about myself. I share it to show you: God sees you. He knows your heart. And He answers.

Even if you feel forgotten, He hasn’t forgotten you. He’s still speaking. And He still heals.

This reminded me of Luke 11:9–10:
"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."
